Professor Vejar is an amazing teacher! She makes learning Spanish quite fun and engaging. She goes over examples on the whiteboard, answers questions, and responds to mail in a reasonable amount of time. She also LOVES the LA Dodgers! There are 4 extra credit labs for a total of 60 points! I would recommend you take her!

Professor Vejar is an amazing and motivational professor! Her instructions are clear and understandable. She makes the class feel comfortable and fun to be in. She's always willing to answer questions before, during or after class. I took her for both Spanish 1 and 2. Take her you won't regret it! Plus for me I found her attractive in a way.

Professora Vejar is an amazing teacher! Had her for both Spanish 1 and Spanish 2. She loves her job and takes it very seriously! She was hard on attendance so you must show up or each time you miss it will effect your grade! She helps you, and gives extra credit chances, she works with you. Just talk to her if something comes up on anything.

Comment:

Professor Vejar is one of the sweetest at chaffey. She is so understanding towards each students struggles and makes more than reasonable ways to help everyone succeed. Her lectures are amazing because she is always prepared and she actually TEACHES! Take her for any Spanish class you need and if its full WAIT until you can get one of her classes!

Her lectures come straight out of the text, just as the quizzes and exams do. She will repetitively ask "questions?" (in Spanish of course) during her lectures, if you have any, ASK! Very understanding, that's ONLY if you're trying hard. DLA'S do matter and that access code does too! Not a Spanish speaker but this class was fairly easy for me.

Professor Vejar is an amazing person. She cares for the success of the student. She is very caring and will work with you if you do not understand or need help due to circumstances. I took her for two classes and both times the classroom feels like family. If you need to take Spanish and need extra help take her class!!!

I was impressed how much she cares for all students. She wants to see everyone succeed. She has a great sense of humor and knows how to get everyones attention and trust me, its hard when its an evening class, but she knew how to manage with all different personalities and everyone wanted to participant in class. She has been an AMAZING profess

She is an AMAZING professor. I loved her 100%. She not only wants us to learn the language she wants us to understand and also be able to speak the language as well. She also makes sure to create a nice environment in the classroom in order for you to make friends within her classes. I definitely recommend her!!!!

Awesome Teacher who cares about her students and their ability to grasp the concept of Spanish. Always willing to assist and help students to be successful in class. Outstanding format for teaching very clear when presenting course information makes students feel comfortable in the class requires class participation.

First off this teacher is a babe ;) secondly real good with communication and offered extra credit. Took as a summer class passed with A- not bad for learning a new language in less than 2 months. Highly recommended if your looking for a teacher to help you. Thick accent but not difficult to understand. A real character to keep you interested

I love this professor she is the best. She is flexible just don't take advantage of her. Gives study guides and worksheets to help you before test . She goes over material before quizzes gives extra credit. span 2 is a little harder than span 1 so you'll need to study a bit more. Chapter test and quizes and 1 group project at the end.

To the student that said native speakers will do well is WRONG. Some may do well but not all, and as a first time learner, Ms. Vejar made it easy to understand. Literally never a dull moment in her class, she makes the class fun even for a 4 hours class. Textbooks are needed and homework are online. Rarely any paper homework. Easy quizzes.

Extremely helpful whenever I had a problem. Uses the online Aventuras site for homework (which is extremely time consuming), but I got full credit just for doing the assignments. Tests are straightforward, just like the homework. She gives study guides. Lab hours are manageable and she gives up to 5% extra credit if you do extra hours.

Vejar was an awesome Spanish teacher. There were only 3 test and the 3rd one was the written final. There is an easy oral presentation. She loves participation, she will call on you at least 2 times a day. If you do your 10 hours and maybe the extra credit, and do all your hw and practice test online, study for the test and you'll do fine. Easy A

I took her in the summer'13. at first her accent annoyed me..but you get used to it. she was definitely a cool teacher and was pretty helpful, and she encouraged asking questions. It was really easy, you just have to show up to class and do the homework and assignments and you'll get an easy A. I had a lot of fun in that class

Easiest class I've taken she's a really good teacher I took her last semester and she's easy, you do have to show up in class and do your work if you need any help she would help you! She's the BEST teacher, I love her. I got an easy A+ you do have a lot of quizzes but they're so easy if you don't pass her class that's because you were just lazy.

Shes cool, she's funny. Just pay attention! she will call on you and if you're not paying attention, you will be put on the spot lol. Tests are kinda hard but you have some online so you can use your book. She has a class thats once a week, I WOULDNT recommend it. its a lot harder because she goes through a lot in hours.overall she is a great.

This is the best class exp. so far at Chaffey! She CARES about her students success & creates a fun interactive learning environment! Complete all work, show up,& participate(it will help you learn & you will get an A).Wish she was teaching Span 2. P.S.Do lab hrs at beg. of sem., lab restricts time you can spend in there at end of semester.

Loved this class. I am not a native speaker and no absolutely no one that speaks Spanish, but still got an A. She is a great teacher, is easy to understand and will work with you if you have any problems. Wish she was teaching Spanish 3.
