Most unhelpful teacher I have ever encountered. Dryer then the Sahara desert. Rude to anyone that asks a question. Expects too much and takes weeks/months to grade so you never know your standing in the class. Schrodinger's grades take another teacher if you canI wish I had.

Very little actual direction given for the final project. Requires textbook that is used literally once. Grading is slow and doesn't provide helpful feedback. Lectures are long, dry, and tend to be repetitive. Doesn't know how to use D2L or other online learning systems (ie, Zoom). Entire class never received feedback for final project. 0/10.

AVOID. Completely disconnected from students outside of class, wont be helpful if you need it. Very dry and boring zoom calls and you will fall behind if you miss a call.

Jane is a great person at heart with an amazing amount of knowledge. She really does intend the best for her students. The problem I have encountered between her two courses is that she is anything but concise. She end up rambling and going on tangents about irrelevant items. Frequently reads slides to you. Inaccessible outside of class.

Her lectures are painfully dry and do not incorporate enough examples to be meaningful in any way. She refuses to post her very few in-class examples online in order to punish students who skip. In my class, she is an entire month behind on grading, so it's impossible to know if I'm on the right track with my learning. Incredibly frustrating class.

Avoid this professor! Her lectures are unstructured, longwinded, and very confusing, but if you skip class, you may miss bits of code that she arbitrarily expects to see in assigned homework. In CS, nomenclature is very precise & important, however this prof frequently mixes terminology up. Worse still, she has the tone of a drill sergeant - brutal

This teacher is lazy. She's not dumb, she just doesn't seem to care. There's basically no homework except for the labs. She has a tone similar to Judge Jeanine Pirro (not good). She doesn't freely give feedback about the assignments completed. She adds things to tests that aren't in the book. Emphasizes on parts of coding that don't need it. AWFUL!

Intro to Program CIS 1500(Java) Starts a little gruff-softens up as time goes on. (If shes talking about Merlin-talking about herself) Tests open book & notes. No computers, calculators or phones. You will need a physical text book if you want to reference it during the test. Extra Credit is offered for HW & on tests. Acts respectful to students

Ms. Tucker is an interesting lady. Her heart is in the right place, but she really shouldn't be teaching. She talks like a drill sergeant, very dry, and makes no attempt to connect with students. She just reads the material and expects you to follow along. Not a bad class at all, just be prepared to be bored.

Her favorite thing to say was "It's not that difficult". Well...for her it wasn't!! What I hated the most was she did not use the book and made up her own test. I had to drop the class because she was very "difficult".
