Did well on both research papers but ended up getting a bad grade anyway. Teacher contradicts himself when giving assignments. Was expecting a whole letter grade higher for this class but got a slap in the face when I received my final grade. Nice guy but if you are looking for a good grade don't take him.

Possibly the worst teacher at monmouth. Nice Guy but to talk to but thats it. Expects way too much work for a gen ed class. 2 Research papers and bunch of write-ups plus a journal to keep track of AVOID

As long as you keep up with the work, this is an enjoyable class. Not gonna lie, kinda fell asleep a bit because it's mostly powerpoints at 830am. Also, his quizzes in the beginning are extremely tedius. But once you get into the swing of things, you'll be fine. The last three weeks of class are just like...5 min presentations so its awesome.

Professor Hailey's class was one of the best to sit through. Even at 8:30 there were constant open debates, and "how do you feel about ..." questions. The only negative to the class is that you write about a 3 page essay every week of the semester. On top of 2 5-8 pg research papers. In the end he's a teacher worth taking; and should pass the WPE.

ugghh i agree with everyone he is a nice guy but honestly he gives too much work and stupid essays to write and if you dont do them his way then you do them over again. He doesnt let you out of class early...ever. There are better teachers out there besides him, find one of them isntead

i had him at 830, and couldnt always stay awake for his mild jokes. although the were probably funny i was too dead to hear anything. class had a lot of work, and his grading is rather subjective. got an A on my HUGE paper that was like %50 of my grade, so in simple terms : "I heart Hailey!"

This guy was nice. I'll give him that much. He was interested in what I did, and seemed to want me to do good. But you cannot please him. He writes all positive comments on my papers, such as good thesis, good point, good sources....then I get a C. Nice reasoning. If you want to breeze through college dont take him, his niceness isnt worth it.

Great guy! Awesome prof. He makes you write a lot of essays, but the class is really helpful in making you a better writer. Super nice, sweet, charming and just a nice person. Two thumbs up!
