He is a nice guy but just cant teach. He mumbles on with stories that are a related to the topics by a stretch, just doesn't make any sense and waste of time.

Avoid Professor Lunn at all costs. Smart guy, but a horrible professor. You could have the entire internet and textbook available to you during a test and still get below 70%. Not worth your time.

Comment:
This man is the worst professor and teacher I've ever had. This is not an exaggeration. The lectures are so boring and irrelevant to the course material and topics on the exam. For instance, Dr. Lunn doesn't provide examples of how formulas relate to our material and students are left confused and bored. Although knowledgable, he shouldn't teach.

AVOID THIS PROFESSOR AT ALL COSTS. He is a really smart guy, but still teaches business like its 1950. We spent an entire semester of "Financial Management" doing intense algebra and calculus, despite the fact that calculus isn't even a pre-requisite course. Get ready to copy down the whole textbook on your test cheat sheet and still get a 68%.

Very knowledgeable professor and scholar. Not great in a class room. Not filled in on class standing unless you ask.

Professor Lunn knows a lot about macroeconomics however, his class was entirely lecture-based and his lectures were often times simply a repeat of the reading

Lunn is a solid prof. He has clear expectations and he's a fair grader. Classes are hard - but then again its multivariable economic theory, so it's gonna be hard.

Lunn is a great guy, but not a great professor. You do the homework for each chapter before he teaches it, so basically you have to teach yourself the entire chapter and by the time you get to class there's nothing left for him to teach you. He spends the entire class telling stories that have nothing to do with the class. Nice guy, though.

He is a pretty entertaining professor but the class is pretty tough. He doesn't do enough example problems and when he does he goes way too fast. Overall not bad but definitely not my favorite either.

Prof. Lunn doesn't usually teach 212 but I was happy to be in his class. He simplified the material and was understanding to the fact that the class was an introduction course. Homework was graded - not for completion and was definitely not easy. Time for in class questions and kept class interesting with stories, examples, and activities.

Lunn was a great professor, he always seemed excited to teach us and he was also funny while teaching us. The class was easier than Macro and it wasn't too much work either.

Avoid him at all costs. Spends the whole class going on tangents and assigns literary analysis papers comparing boring and complex subjects (read entirely outside class, of course). If you do find yourself in his class, try to stay awake by trying to map out his tangents to see how impressively far he gets from anything remotely relevant.

Try to get to know him. go in during his office hours and ask questions. not an easy class for me and i know i'm not the only one who struggled. it helped that he allows a "cheat sheet" for exams, but not an easy class. not a very good teacher, but is willing to help.

He was a great professor. He knows a lot about economics (which he should). Very helpful, very understanding, and he has a slight down south twang! As long as you pay attention in the course, you shouldn't have a problem! Hawtry is the one to take for econ 211 though... SUPER EASY!

knows econ as a subject but cant teach it. doenst really offer to help and says he doenst really want people to think they are doing good in the class. He goes on tangents and it is hard to take notes and know what is important. One of the exam problems had no numbers in it but you were just supposed to make them up. Hard teacher. and not friendly

Where to begin. Lunn is not organized at all and makes you feel stupid if you ask questions. I've worked my butt off in this class and will barely walk away with a B, if I'm lucky. He's very stuck in his ways and assigns an ungodly amount of work to be completed for each class period. Be prepared to work extremely hard and have no social life.

Knows a lot of econ, but very vague as to what students should know. His class was not a lot of work, but in the end it hurt cause I learned nothing for exams.
