Comment:

English has always been my favorite, but he has helped me develop a hatred for it. It was an easy class, but had a lot of time consuming and repetitive work. It seems that he ran out of stuff to teach after a month, so he just rambled about nothing. He is a grouchy man, and the only thing I learned was how to deal with a very difficult teacher.

Do NOT take him. Mr. Tolbert is a wonderful person, but a terrible teacher. He is unreachable outside of class. His lectures are soooo boring, he is repetitive and doesn't make any since. I made an A in the class but I would have rather had another teacher and make an F.

His class was not hard, but it was boring and I didn't learn very much about writing papers. He only assigns five papers for the whole semester and grades them pretty easily, but if you want to really improve your writing he is not the guy to take. All we did in class was talk about social issues that had nothing to do with the papers we wrote.

I've only had Mr. Tolbert for about three weeks, but I personally like him as a teacher. I don't know what you all mean about his "hateful" emails because I send him emails all the time and he's very polite and helpful. I love writing papers, which is probalby why I like this class lol

He is a wonderful teacher! He does not require alot of work at all. Mostly writing papers. He is an easy grader, I recieved all A´s on mine. He was always willing to help on anything. Most definitely my favorite class this semester! I recommend him to everyone!

If you like to write lots of papers take this class. Don't email, he will be hateful, and make you feel stupid. He was fairly nice to me, but hateful with emails. If you can take someone else, I highly recommend it!

Tolbert is very helpful, but you have to do your work and always show up for class. His grading is reasonable if you show effort when writing a paper. He is highly recommended and I would take him again if i had the opportunity.

Breached confidentiality (told someone infront of the entire class they failed, and told someone else they were about to fail). How are you supposed to write a paper on 3 literary works that have influenced your life in 3rd person? Unreachable outside of class for help.
