she teaches speech for umuc now. I took her class because i thought it was an easy a but even then it wasnt worth it. I heard her life story about 5 times and probably would have benefitted more from taking the other teacher. So much of my life wasted in this class...

Kooky scatterbrained lady. I took her a few years ago and loved her class! She is passionate about history and if you pay attention she tells you exactly what she wants from you on exams. She wants the chapters read before she lectures on them and she likes specific examples so be sure to know a few of those for the tests.

Comment:

Great lady how's passion is History. She puts a personal touch on her lectures by sharing on side stories related with the topic. She doesn't follow a specific schedule, it's more by topics. On the midterm and final, make sure you answer all the questions/topics that she asks/wants and make sure that you write the things that she explain in class.

Leitner LOVES History. She is amazing with her stories and almost tells it like it's gossip! She does tend to get a little disorganized and her quizzes can be a little too broad, she is a great teacher though. You have to read and interact with her.

Teacher makes the lecture pretty fun with personal stories but sometimes loses track or gives same lecture twice. The key to this class is to make sure you answer ALL the questions on the midterm.
