The worst professor I've ever had. While having Canvas as a platform to communicate with all of his students, he decides to use 3 different unnecessary platforms. Slack, Adobe Connect and KnowledgeForum. So critical of everything you may say in class, after forcing you to answer. Unbearable!

Roland is one of the worst professors i had so far at Durham College/ Ontario Tech U. He was trying to teach us a new methodology called problem based learning and would force his own software that he made down your throat. This prof is lazy and i literally paid him thousands for nothing. But easy credit

Avoid at all costs. Many of us kept asking him on how he would be grading us. He was vague about it every time. We then realized that our peers would mark us sometimes. He didn't even know the logic behind the marks. They could be completely made up, but he would simply take the mark and give it to the student. He is awful at feedback. Just no.

Roland is terrific! He makes you think critically, he gets you to analyze first before jumping to conclusions. He also makes himself available for one-on-one sessions if you need help. A very caring person. Loves to give feedback, but you have to put in the effort. No answers given to you.

This man will crucify you if you talk about carbon dating on your placement. His religion supercedes science and should not be offended yet somehow he has a science degree in biology. What a farce!!! did he threaten his science profs using his religion inorder to get a bio degree???
