Mr Harris is a little unorganized, but he is a pretty decent teacher. If students show up to class and complete assignments they are sure to pass his class. He does not use the text book, and you MUST turn in assignments on time! He seems very laid back and somewhat humorous. NEVER TAKE OUT A CELL PHONE OR ANY OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICE IN HIS CLASS.

He is a very straight forward teacher. He sometime forgets what he said. He is usually late, and everyone often gets to leave early.He does not accept any late work EVER, even though I had my tonsils removed he wouldn't accept the work!! He really does want you to pass the exit exam, and he has fun with the class.

The two comments below are straight lies. I took him for a prep class when I first started and it was a summer course. I passed with an A. This teacher prepared me for the exit exam. He was concerned about everybody passing. He is laidback that doesn't make him lazy. Take him if you won't to learn and pass your exit exam.

This is the WORST teacher a student who wants to learn can have. Very rude, DISRESPECTFUL, lazy, always late for class, careless for his students, disorganized, he takes smoking breaks every 15 min during class hours...Definitely NOT RECOMENDABLE for anybody. Also it is good to mention that his racism is noticeable while teaching in class.

Professor Harris is an excellent teacher. He is so great he didn't even use the book. If you take this class with Mr harris don't even bother buying the book. It is not needed. He knows what he is doing. If you want to pass the exit exam choose Harris. we did homework maybe 7 times.

HE IS A GREAT PROFESSOR!! We never used our book. He did a lot of group activity. He explains very well and gives examples. There is no reason why anyone should fail as long as you attend class. He will help you with anything you need. He is even helping with one of my other classes. I really wish I could have him for ENC1101.

I took Mr. harris class in the summer of 2007 and the class was great. if you come to class everyday and just do some of the assignment he give in class you will come out with an A. he dont really give homework just some class assignment that you guys always go over in class anyway. dont buy the book but take the class he's great.

I took Professor Harris in the fall of 2006. He made everything make COMPLETE sense! Make sure you come to class everyday because he doesn't play when it comes to attendance. I WISH HE TAUGHT ENC-1101 & ENC-1102!! Take him! He's great!

Dont go over your absent days or he will withdraw so if you dont have time dont take his class. Funny and intelegent everything I want in a man plus sexy.
