Comment:

Her lecture compares to Dr Howarth's lecture, I think her lecture a little bit boring. She explains materials well, but some of the test questions are so tricky. She wants the students to know the stuff in detail. Also, I am strongly recommend that you sit at the front of the lecture hall in order to hear her well.

Comment:

Overall, a poor professor. Highly enjoyed the lecture material, just not the person delivering it. She was unengaging, dry, boring, monotone, and had a raging ego. Very difficult to reach and talk to her if you had questions - had a very condescending attitude and tone of voice. Loses patience like a light switch. Take this course, but avoid her.

Teaching style is lack-lustre. Iclicker were a waste of time. Was unhelpful & unattentive in answering questions. Class is dull and not very engaging. Lectures did not follow the required textbook at all. Very hard to get a hold of. Overall, would not recommend it.

She explains things VERY well and is very enthusiastic about what she teaches. When you go to class, don't focus on overheads or w/e, but actually listen and understand what she's saying. She focuses highly on understanding which is the best way to truly learn something. She's very approachable and nice.

Very clear and organized. Sometimes I found she moved a little quickly in the lectures, but she is always willing to speak to you afterwards to clear up any confusion. Very approachable.

Wow! I'm really surprised to see all of the horrible comments about this excellent prof! She is very clear in lectures and has always been very approachable, in my opinion. I think that people have to understand that A&P is a REALLY tough course. You have to commit yourself to the work, and then the course really isn't that awful. Great prof, imo.

best prof ever! clear and interesting. cares about students questions and takes an extra effort to make us understand the concepts. For those who complain about lack of help: she is very helpful and may not be in her office all day because she also does interesting research. unlike most profs just sit in their offices all day

She has an arrogance, i mean for god sake you dont have the take the term office "hour" so damn literally. I know 1ao6 wasnt on the top of her proirity list but she taught it well, and was helpful in class, just dont show up at her office she can be moody.

For all those complainers out there, the course isn't easy, it takes EFFORT. But Dr. MacDonald is EXCELLENT, she makes the concepts really easy to understand. Don't give her a bad rap, just because you did poorly in the class.
