McKissick is one of the best teachers that I have ever had. Cares about his students' work and pushes you further than you ever thought you could go. Learned so much and teaches you how to be a professional.

The class was long hours of listening to critiques and McKissick talk and pointlessly wasting hours on shading projects. The class was helpful, but could've easily been something you learn from a one day seminar. Such is the manner of CCAD, though. Drag it out for as long and as much money as possible.

Very helpful instructor...He is so involved in class and definitely an excellent speaker. He obviously lpves what he does. He's very demanding though...he wants to see that you've grown and tried in his classes. Highly Recommended!

Comment:

By far hands down the best teacher I've ever had for an applied arts class. His honesty is commendable and to be respected. If that guy gives you advice he means business... totally involved and genuinely interested in the students' progress. A totally worthwhile cat to have on your side of the ring. I do have to say that my favorite part of his class was to watch and behold as he tore apart the****of walk best senior in the class for sophomoric mistakes. Priceless.

Great guy. It always amazes me how he can stand up in front of a class and lecture on a subject for two or three hours and never run out of useful, helpful information to talk about. His interest on the subject and his desire to teach always show through. He is impressive.

Knows what he's talking about and doesn't hold back during critiques. Hilariously twisted sense of humor that makes his lectures quite amusing. One of the best lecturers/speakers at CCAD, in my opinion. I second the "Highly recommended" comment.

Oh, don't be mean to poor Stewart! I had him for all three 2-D design couses. He threw things. He complained about being racially insulted by the term 'welshing'. He was by far the most entertaining (on purpose or not) instructor @ CCAD. Go Stewart! BTW, very unhelpful and unclear - very CCAD!

I really like him. He's nice and informative. Plus, you can never fall asleep in his class..his voice is too damn loud
