I took his spring course. it is amazing, the lecture is clear and easy to understand! I took to meet my credit requirement but I was really into the macro and micro thing! till now I could remember his lecture notes clearly. worth trying!

I just finished my second year at mount a and I decided to take spring courses. I took ECON1001 with Dr. Haghiri and I would actually say he is the best prof I have had so far. I can't believe he is not a full time prof. From my opinion. He is very clear in his lectures, super funny, and very enthusiastic.

Great prof. Very knowledgeable, exciting and engaging. Always a great sense of humour in his lectures and is willing to take whatever time necessary to help a student out. There should be more professors like him and its disgraceful that he has not been hired by the university as a full time prof.

AMAZING! Best teacher I've EVER had! No surpirses on his exams, if you make the effort to go to class and listen, you'll ace it! Unbelievable ability to relate anything to economics! Plus, he bought the whole class (about 150 students!) donuts on the last day! It doesn't get nice than that!

I absolutely love this man! I have never met a teacher that cared so much about Economics! His joy for life seeps through onto his teaching. He mixes humour with knowledge in a beautiful balance. He makes Tuesdays and Thursdays at mta something to look forward to! Amazing, straight up!

I loved him, I was at a point in my life where I stopped caring about class, when I got his class I went to class just to listen to him. He made you interested and I am now taking Business and economics rather than physics and math.

Loved Haghiri!!! So funny. Makes learning Econ fun! His tests were VERY hard but you get the mark you deserve. I thought I bombed the final after spending a lot of time preparing, but ended up with an excellent mark. If you ahve a choice, pick Dr H.

I find it funny that my favorite prof was from the course(s) I did worst in! (My relatively poor marks were my own darn fault.) Haghiri is, quite honestly, one of the absolute best profs in Sackville as he's not only brilliant but also kind, funny, and very willing to help! You'd be foolish to go to Mt. A and not (at least) get to know him.

LOVE HAGHIRI! I took further courses in Econ, with other profs even, because he made me love it. Great sense of humor, very considerate and so kind! One of the best and most entertaining profs at mta. I told everyone i know about his classes.I hope he is here for my younger siblings when they come!!
