Comment:

I did not learn anything from the class. I know she buys dryer sheets for her cats, drinks lots of Coke for caffeine, shops at Gelsons and Bristol Farms, and favorite song is "Diamonds" by Rihanna. Her exams are horrible and misspelled, but she has audacity to correct others on capitalization and docks off points. She gets mad when students leave!!

Took her class at CSUN. Gives A LOT of xtra credit, which is great. Tests, however, r VERY disoriented and unorganized; they are word for word from the text, which she does not teach from. Class had 3 exams, one MAJOR (80+pg) report, and presentation. Too much work for what it is, but got an A-.

VERY DEFENSIVE... Comes off rude sometimes... Favorite song is "Last Night" by Diddy and Keisha Cole... No joke... Can be impressed if you read the Orange County Business Journal and comment on articles... DO EXTRA CREDIT AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!!!!!... Her tests are poorly structured and she makes many mistakes correcting them.

she's super nice and she tries to make it as clear as possible.. she offers max. of 50 extra credit points, and seriously just wants students to do well.. tests are easy, and going to class helps, but it's not mandatory

The worst instructor I've had. Lectures too fast so you can't get good notes. Claims to put PP slides on BeachBoard, but doesn't. Most stuff she lectures on isn't in the book, which ISN'T resellable. Bickers at little things a lot, especially if you don't behave. Welcome back to elementary school. Do yourself a favor and don't take this instructor.

This teacher's exam's really are horrible. Usually if you read all of the chapters that is assigned for the test and study what is on the study guide you get a good grade but NOT in this class. She makes the questions on the test tricky and most are not from the book! She has to offer extra credit because she knows her exams are crap!

She speeds through lectures like Roadrunner. Looks like the Wicked Witch of the West. Claims to lecture from the book, but nothing she covers is in the book. Written tests suck. Many random pop quizzes. Fortunately, lots of extra credit - because you'll need it. Brings candy and other treats to class. Come for the sweets, leave for the class.

By far the WORST teacher I've had at CSULB. Unprepared, dressed poorly, mispellings all over the test, "study guide" material is nowhere to be found on the test. I could do on for days, she's making me reconsider being a marketing major, that's how bad she is.

horrible horrible proffesor. Taught/lectured on two classes then gave up. She seems to fail the concept of a 1 unit writing class. She assigned a project heavily based on oral presentation and spent absolutly no time on the writing assignments she wants turned in. Do your best to avoid her if she ever teaches this class again.

Scholz can be an interesting teacher, its just her lectures are hard to follow because she tends to ramble and doesnt command the classes attention. Extra credit opportunities are plentiful. This is an easy B / simi-difficult A. If you study the book and do the class project well it is easy enough.
