Comment:

Really sweet man who probably means well, but not an efficient or effective professor. The class was graded on three exams all weighted differently (the final counted for 45% of the grade). The lectures were not helpful, so you will have to teach yourself a lot of it. He does give a lot of practice quizzes that are helpful for exams.

Comment:

He is knowledgeable about finance. Thats about all that is helpful about this fellow. He is older with a traditional way to teach, that is SLOW PASE AND BORING. Without the helpfulness from his online examples, I wouldn't pass. Exams are 40+ true false that are easily mistaken vs. right answer. No extra credit, No additional help, set in his ways.

This is the worst professor I have had in my entire college career. His reading material does not make sense, his tests are ridiculously hard and not fair in any way. Seriously, do not take him.

The absolute worst professor I have ever had. Just avoid him he is an absolute moron. 350 characters is not even close to the amount I would need to express why I cannot stand this man, I could probably write a 10 page paper about it.

Awful. Don't take this class if you don't have to. Most monotone professor ever had. Does not make the topic interesting. Steer clear, uses the same course pack from 10 years ago. Talks in circles. Does not actually teach, just talks about Financial Shenanigans!

When I read reviews of teachers I try to keep in mind that it all should be taken with a grain of salt. Not with this teacher, take somebody else or wait till next semester. Seriously, worst teacher I've never had. I wish I could say more...

Odd guy. Never used the textbook. Uses own "course pack" which is on asulearn. If he didn't take attendance this could be an all online class. He means well and try's to help. But I found him difficult to understand most of the time. Talks in circles. Has rank BO most days. Not the greatest prof ever.

I thought he did a very good job at teaching intro to finance. He had a way of breaking it down and making it easier to understand. I also find him hilarious which makes the class more interesting.

Can be easy if you're into finance. Easy to follow along as long as you go to class and pay attention. He is a funny guy and very understanding. Open to help when you need it. Tests are hard but he prepares you pretty well.

Freaking ridiculous! You can study for tests for weeks and tons of hours and you will still fail. He may be a nice guy but he is an awful teacher! I would never take him again, he is going to screw my gpa over.

He is a really nice person, but horrible at teaching stats. I strongly recommend you take someone else. It took him 2 weeks to go over 1 chapter. He would run out of time, and expect you to know the other material he didn't cover (right before the exam). Learned alot about finance, but nothing about stats. Keasler is the nicest guy. He tries really hard, but I dont think teaching was his calling. He is so boring, I can't count how many times my head hit the desk as well as other students. He repeats info to the point of overkill. Tests are really confusing, eg: one word in a paragraph makes a T/F question right or wrong. But overall he's OK.

Great professor-tricky tests(really long true/false- but the way to do it is to not let yourself get tricked-and CHECK OVER it because some questions repeat themselves and answer previous ones. Very willing to help outside of class. No curve or rounding on grades at all but it's an easy B (at least-A if you study for a few hours before each test)
